Scholarship Policy for New admissions/MRG Students
For Academic Year : 2025-26

(Concession of up to 100% of Tuition Fee subject to fulfilling the condition laid out in the Policy)

MRG School promotes the culture of excellence and believes that meritorious and achiever students at the school should be rewarded with appropriate scholarships. The scholarship based on Sports & Performing Arts apply to the students of all grades, however, the scholarship based on Academic performance is for the students of Grade X & XI. . The student has to meet any ONE or more of the following conditions as laid below:

Overall aggregate marks & marks achieved in the Core Subjects greater than 95% in the previous class and 100 marks achieved in any one of the core subjects

50% Tuition Fee Waiver for the academic year

Overall aggregate and marks achieved in the core subjects

 Mandatory Terms

  1. All students from grades IX to XII can apply for the scholarship at any time during the year upon meeting the eligibility criteria. However, the scholarship will take effect from the following academic year.
  2. The supporting documents must be submitted along with the Admission Form to the Principal before the admission is granted (for new admissions seeking scholarship). Existing students will be awarded scholarship only after the results are declared. The Fees collected will be adjusted in other dues/Fee charges through the year.
  3. A student can avail only one type of scholarship in an academic year.
  4. Scholarship awarded will be applicable for one academic year only.
  5. The scholarship is in the form of Tuition Fee waiver only; all other fee charges of the school shall be borne by the parent.
  6. Any student who qualifies for the scholarship will not be permitted to claim any other form of fee concession applicable during the academic year.
  7. A student can avail scholarship only if there is no outstanding amount for fee.
  8. The scholarships awarded to any student of class XI shall be liable to continue studying class XII in MRG School only. If the student withdraws after completing class XI, the waived off amount shall be refunded to school at the time of final documentation.
  9. Students must score 90% or above in Core subjects [Core subjects for class X includes: language1, Language2, Mathematics, Science & Social Science] to avail scholarship based on Academic Performance related Tuition fee waiver.
  10. The application for any type of scholarship may be submitted by students to the school office at any time during the year. However, if the application is received mid-year, the scholarship benefit shall be applicable and reimbursed from the succeeding academic year only (exception for grade XII).

The decision of awarding the scholarship rests fully with the Management. Further, the Management may, at their discretion, limit the scholarship amount to less than the specified amount for the justifiable reasons as documented in writing. The scholarship cannot be claimed as a matter of right by any student.
