Community Outreach Program

As an academic institution educating the “leaders of tomorrow”, following the best practices, and reflecting upon the school’s vision, MRG School has developed an ever-growing number of sustainable practices that aid and address social issues. From sustainability focus in academic programs and research, social impact, and diversity to spreading awareness through daily operations and various campaigns, targeted events, and several systematic initiatives, the school has raised the bar to foreshadow and showcase the efforts towards social responsibility. The school has been associated with various organizations like Smile Foundation and Navjyoti India Foundation that are helping the vulnerable sections of society to become resilient. Moreover, the school has organized various campaigns and drives under the aegis of MRG and other foundations that have further assisted to benefit and cater the social needs. The school is indeed the epitome of unwavering commitment toward society.


Blood Donation Camp

We are happy to share that MRG School in collaboration with Rotaract club organized a Blood Donation Camp. We received great support from our parents who came forward and donated blood to help the people who are in need of it. We salute all the donors for their active participation.


Visit to Shanti Devi Children’s Home

It was a matter of great contentment for the newly elected Student Council to visit Shanti Devi Children’s Home. The students during their visit extended their love and care for the children through their small contribution and offerings. The visit was indeed bewitching and created a sense of belongingness in the students.


Prabhat Pheri

MRG is celebrating 75 years of Independence in a quaint way. To spread the jingoistic aura and patriotic fervor all around, the school organised a Prabhat Pheri. The morning march aimed to sensitize people about promoting healthy living and rebuffing the use of plastics in our daily lives. We aimed at instilling the love for the Indian culture and tradition in our wards that will support them as lifelong learners and also motivating them to become a responsible citizen.


Goonj Donation Drive

The MRG school took an initiative and inaugurated the Donation Drive- ‘A Festival of Giving’ under the aegis of Goonj Foundation with extreme pride on 1st & 2nd October 2021. To usher in the humanitarian drive, Ms. Pragna Parande, an enthusiastic and robust activist and member of NCPCR presided over as the chief guest and motivated the audience with an inspirational speech. The school management generously donated Rs 31000/- and altruistic donations were given by the members of the MRG Family and other community members. It was heart-warming to see around 200 people coming together and donating during this donation drive. The drive was a resounding and massive success.


Geo Inquiry Project- Trash To Treasure

“There is no such thing as ‘Away’. When we throw anything away it must go somewhere.” - Annie Leonard To contribute towards SDG 12 (responsible consumption and production), which targets environmentally sound management of all waste through prevention, reduction, recycling, and reuse. MRG School took the initiative to organise a trash donation drive where learners from CAIE collected the trash and converted it into educational tools and useful furniture through eco-bricks..


‘The Little Picassos- An Art Competition’

MRG School organised ‘The Little Picassos- An Art Competition’ under the Community Outreach Program in the Central Park of Paschim Vihar. The aim of spreading cheer and joy during the festivities of Christmas was attained delightfully.


Vaccination Drive


Self Defence Training Camp

MRG organised self-defence training for students, parents and staff at MRG School with the help of the Delhi Police. All the participants were groomed and trained with self-defence tricks in "real-life" scenarios, which will enable them to protect themselves when in need.


Labour Day Celebration

Workers' dedication and hard work contribute to the establishment of an organization. On Labour Day, MRGIANS brought a token of affection to the support staff. The kind gesture was an attempt to make our learners realise the importance of the substantial efforts being made by support staff at every stage of our lives.


SAVE SOIL Movement by Isha Foundation

Save Soil is a global movement launched by Indian spiritual leader Sadhguru to address land degradation and advocate for healthy soil. The school is actively participating in the soil cause by writing a letter to our Prime minister.


1 Day Training Program– Navjyoti Foundation

Navjyoti teachers had a great learning experience in a one day training at MRG School. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for considering our request for building the capacity of our teachers on curriculum development. The training was delivered by Jyoti mam and Simran mam with great zeal and they ensured the participation of all. The activity based on integrated learning projects would surely help Navjyoti teachers to manage the different levels of students in their classrooms.
